I’ll be searching through $1,000 worth of federal reserve notes from my local bank. All 10 of these $100 Bill straps (containing 100 $1 bills) are teller straps. These are straps the bank tellers assemble from customer and business deposits. I typically have better luck when searching federal reserve notes strapped by the Federal Reserve rather than by the bank employees but I was still excited to hunt through these notes from my lucky bank!
We’re hoping to find more rare star notes, any valuable old bills, or any fancy or cool serial numbers in these circulated stacks of bills. I hope you enjoy this bit of bill hunting with me.

🔴Barr Notes info:
Among the most sought-after U.S. paper money of the late 1960s are the short-lived “Barr” Notes. The bills feature the signature of then Secretary of the Treasury, Joseph W. Barr. Barr had a relatively short term of office, the shortest of anyone that has held the position (December 21, 1968 – January 20,1969), leading to hoarding of these $1 Secretary Barr Notes. These notes are Series 1963B.
